Cabinet Chief Capitanich fired back against critics of the bills drafted by the Executive to reform several consumption and production laws to be discussed at Congress today saying that “business leaders must stop political chicanery and strategies that seek to distort (public) opinion.”
“Many of those who criticize are business men in name only, they never go anywhere near their plants,” the official fired. He ratified the constitutionality of the bills, in response to comments by the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA).
“We bluntly reject that the project has any aspect of unconstitutionality,” Capitanich stressed in his daily press briefing at government house. “On the contrary, it respects the Constitution.”
Amid criticism that point out that the reform is following the Venezuelan path, the Kirchnerite official denied “any association” with other countries’ experiences. He said the bills come “after an analysis of the price formation process in Argentina, on its immediate historical precedents.”
