The US dollar traded unchanged at 8.28 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices with few operations registered following a strike affecting all banking activities.
Meanwhile, the so called «blue» dollar closed at 12.80 pesos with the informal market still focusing on news about Argentina’s debt dispute against vulture funds suing the South American country over its defaulted bonds. Yesterday, greenbacks had jumped ten cents.
The stock exchange dollar rate rose six cents to 11.67 pesos while the blue-chip swap remained steady at 10.42 pesos.
