The “blue” dollar was 20 cents lower at 12.80 pesos, as negotiations between Argentina and holdout creditors continued in New York to avert default. It yesterday spiked 40 cents.
The official rate closed up one cent to 8.21 pesos in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices.
In the meantime, the blue-chip swap traded up at 10.14 pesos while the stock exchange rate jumped to 11.96 pesos.
Grain exporters sold off over u$s 640 millions last week, totalling u$s 15 billions this year.
