Federal Judge Ariel Lijo accepted today the appeals presented in the Ciccone case, including the one issued by Vice-President Amado Boudou.
The 1st Federal Chamber courtroom will now start to revise Lijo’s ruling, which impeached Boudou, José María Núñez Carmona, Alejandro Vandenbroele, Nicolás Ciccone, Guillermo Reinwick and Rafael Resnick Brener over supposed irregularities during the former Ciccone printing company bankruptcy discharge.
Lijo approved the appeals considering they were presented “in legal and formal time.”
Boudou was charged with bribery and with pursuing business interests that are incompatible with public office.
Now the case will be revised by Appeal Court members Eduardo Farah, Jorge Ballestero and Eduardo Freiler.
