The US dollar closed up one cent today at Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices, trading at 8.16 pesos, as the Central Bank once more entered the market with a 120 million dollar purchase during the day.
Grain exporters liquidated about 758 million dollars last week, totalling 13.8 million dollars this year.
In the informal market, the so-called “blue” dollar remained below the 12 pesos mark, trading at 11.95 pesos.
Meanwhile, the blue-chip swap exchange rate fell back to 10.08 pesos, while the stock exchange rate went up to 10.96 pesos.
