The US dollar traded unchanged at Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices at 8.15 pesos, after a 180-million purchase by the Central Bank yesterday, the biggest buy since May.
Grain exporters liquidated about 150 million dollars yesterday and the Central Bank’s reserves climbed 63 million dollars, totalling 29,333 millions.
Meanwhile, in the informal market, the so-called “blue” dollar went down 5 cents and closed at 12 pesos, after falling back by 10 cents yesterday.
The stock exchange rate trades a cent higher at 11.07 pesos, while the the blue-chip swap exchange rate climbs four cents to 10.12 pesos.
