The stock exchange dollar rate was climbing 37 cent pushing greenbacks in the informal market to 12.50 pesos. The blue-chip swap exchange rate was 21 cents higher trading at 10.93 pesos with traders estimating the demand for the American currency is expected to increase.
The so called “blue” dollar was 30 cents higher at 12.50 pesos hitting an 85-cent hike over the week and reaching a 53-percent gap with the official rate.
Meanwhile, the US dollar was trading unchanged in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices at 8.15 pesos.
