Boudou’s questioning ‘an excellent opportunity’, gov’t says

Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich referred to Vice-President Amado Boudou’s questioning by Judge Ariel Lijo saying “it is an excellent opportunity for Judiciary and the judge to act without any pressure”.

Capitanich reiterated a request made by Boudou himself and said the questioning should be broadcasted live “to give transparency and visibility” to the cause. “We think it would be important to broadcast this cause live,” the Kirchnerite official stressed.

The Cabinet Chief described Boudou’s questioning as an opportunity for the Vice-President to set his stance clear and showed confidence in an “adequate functioning of the Republic’s institutions”.
