Federico Bonomi is the owner of the light aircraft that yesterday crashed into the Río de la Plata causing five deaths. The Argentine businessman, owner also of one of the country’s largest clothing companies, arrived this morning at the Ezeiza international airport, forced to call off his holidays in the US.
“I feel broken, I am torn apart,” the young entrepreneur told reporters covering his arrival in the Ezeiza airport today.
“We took the first flight as soon as we learnt (about what happened). I saw everything in the Internet and followed (the case) from the US with my phone,” Bonomi explained. “We don’t understand what happened,” he added.
The head of the Kosiuko clothing firm – who pointed out he used the plane “for family trips except for rare exceptions” -, said pilot Leandro Larriera “was an experienced pilot who had 5,000 to 6,000 of flight time.” Larriera died in the crash.
