Capitanich praises BA Herald article on City advertising budget

In his daily press briefing, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich referred to an article published yesterday by the Buenos Aires Herald about City government advertising budget that showed that the Clarín Group was the single biggest recipient of public advertising doled out by BA City. Mentioning the frequent criticism on federal government advertising budget, Capitanich said the articleshowed that “information is not treated with equity”.

“There are always systematic attacks on public advertising budget but not in this case, not from the Supreme Court, the media or politicians,” Capitanich said.

“Every government –provincial or municipal- is entitled to allocate advertising budget as it pleases but this should have a fair treatment by the justice, the media and political analysts,” he added.
