Transport workers’ walkout and pickets hamper the «legitimate right to strike,» the head of ministers has warned ahead of the protest action called by the anti-government splinters of the CGT for tomorrow.
Addressing reporters at the Casa Rosada presidential palace, Jorge Capitanich considered “impossible” to weight Thursday’s attendance since workers opposing the strike won’t be able to use public transportation.
“The legitimate right to strike is indispensable,” the cabinet chief pointed out but warned it is also the right to use “all means of transportation.”
Capitanich made the statements one day ahead of the CGT labour confederation walkout launched by anti-Kirchnerites union leaders Hugo Moyano and Luis Barrionuevo, a move that has rallied support also among left-wing organizations who have announced a series of pickets and roadblocks in the City and the Province of Buenos Aires as wells as other areas in the country for tomorrow.
