Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich today praised the “immediate intervention” the national government has had in Neuquén province, one of the mostly affected areas by powerful storms which left floods and thousands of evacuated.
In his daily press conference, the head of ministers reiterated the government’s solidarity and highlighted the coordination of “direct actions” and “intervention strategies” carried out by the Social Development Minister, the Army and Gendarmerie.
He informed other provinces are under a “water emergency” after heavy rainfall and strong winds also hit Entre Ríos, Córdoba, Mendoza and Río Negro provinces, among others.
