US dollar trades steady at 8.01 pesos, ‘blue’ falls

The US currency has closed unchanged in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices, the price remaining at 7.96 pesos for buyers and 8.01 pesos for sellers.

Markets reopened today, following yesterday’s break in operations national holiday marking the 32nd anniversary of the Malvinas War.

Meanwhile, the so called “blue” dollar dropped five cent, trading at 10.65 pesos (buying price) and 10.75 pesos (selling price) in the informal market.
