CFK attends homage to Napoleon in Paris

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner today attended a ceremony which paid homage to emperor Napoleon at the National Residence of the Invalids in Paris, where she was received with military honours.
At her arrival, the president was saluted by officers from the Republican Guard, and received by the Junior Minister for French speaking countries Yamina Benguigui.
During the ceremony, both French and Argentine flags were raised and the national anthems of both countries were played.
After holding a private meeting with Pope Francis yesterday in the Vatican, the Argentine president flew to Paris, where she is scheduled to meet tomorrow with her French counterpart Francois Hollande.
On Thursday, Cristina along with Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault will lead the opening ceremony of the Salon du Livre in Paris, in which Argentina is guest of honour this year.
