US dollar higher at 7.935 pesos, ‘blue’ descends

The US dollar closed three cents higher on the first business day of the week and finished trading at 7.935 pesos (selling price) with traders eyeing the Central Bank behaviour, which regulates the wholesale market.
The «blue» dollar which trades in the informal market fell five cents lower at 10.90 pesos after also ending five cents down on Friday.
Last week, the Central Bank bought 230 million dollars in the foreign exchange market, a figure which was later diminished due to energy import payments and money transfers for the purchase of Apache by YPF oil company.
