Argentine oil company, YPF, expects to raise its oil production by 3 percent in 2014 compared to 2013, its president Miguel Galuccio said today.
He added in a phone conference with analysts, the natural gas pump would grow 6 percent this year.
YPF’s oil production, now controlled by the national government, grew 2.2 percent last year to 232,300 barrels a day. On the other hand, natural gas production increased 1.5 percent last year to 33,900 million cubic metres per day.
