Venezuelan Foreign Minister Elías Jaua was holding a press conference at the Casa Rosada presidential palace in Buenos Aires today along with his Argentinean counterpart Héctor Timerman.
“The democratic popular force that was born 25 years ago commanded by (Hugo) Chávez and that governs Venezuela today has won 18 out of 19 electoral processes,” Jaua said and denounced that the “violent conflicts” that have been causing upheaval in the Caribbean country over the past weeks have a “political nature.”
In that sense, the Venezuelan official explained that the Nicolás Maduro administration rallied a “profound legitimacy” winning 75 mayoralties “only 90 days ago.”
Jaua weas received earlier today by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner who ratified Argentina’s «support» and «solidarity» with Maduro’s government during an official rally last week.
