The US dollar today dropped one cent to 8.015 pesos in banks and exchange offices in Buenos Aires City, after remaining roughly unchanged last week when the government relaxed foreign exchange controls.
The foreign currency rose 23 percent or 1.5 pesos in January.
Meanwhile, in the black market, the dollar was unchanged at 12.55 pesos after ending 10 cents lower yesterday.
Central Bank international reserves reached 28 billion dollars yesterday, 97 million dollars less than last Friday, when they closed at 28,1 billions.
