President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will reappear in public followed almost 40 days of absence in a ceremony to be held at the Government House, City of Buenos Aires.
According to Noticias Argentinas news agency, the head of state will lead a ceremony at 7 pm, at the Salon de las Mujeres hall, citing Governmental sources, however no further details were released.
The president’s last public speech was December 10, when she led the celebrations to commemorate the 30 years of Democracy.
The last time she participated in an official ceremony was December 19 when she led a ceremony to mark the promotion of several armed forces officials, including new head of the Army, César Milani.
