Tango singer Nelly Omar died today at her home aged 102 years old. She was part of Argentina’s tango and popular music’s golden age, which included other immense artists such as Tita Merello, Azucena Maizani, Libertad Lamarque and Ada Falcón.
Despite her health condition, the artist, popularly referred to as «Gardel with skirt», celebrated her 100 years old back in 2011 with a recital in Luna Park city stadium.
