Wall Street ticks down, tech weighs

NEW YORK (Reuters) – U.S. stock indexes turned negative in morning trade on Monday, weighed by declines in the information technology sector.

The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI) fell 22.78 points, or 0.20 percent, to 11,469.13. The Standard & Poor’s 500 (.SPX) shed 1.28 points, or 0.10 percent, to 1,242.63. The Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) lost 8.36 points, or 0.32 percent, to 2,634.61.
