After a steady open today at Buenos Aires city exchange offices and banks, the US currency ended higher at 6.285 pesos (selling price).
Last week, the dollar reached a 10-cent climb, its largest in five years. The latest hike was registered in October 2008 when it jumped eleven cents closing at 3.40 pesos.
Meanwhile, the so called “blue dollar” was trading in the informal market at 9.56 pesos (selling price).
