A young female doctor who was riding a motorbike was killed by a bus last Friday in Palermo neighborhood, in Buenos Aires city.
The bus driver, identified as Diego Esteban Bunetta, today showed up at a police station and rejected accusations saying «she fell off her bike» 20 or 30 metres ahead of the bus. He was released.
The victim, who was identified as Mariana Filgueira Risso, passed away a few hours after the accident at the Fernández Hospital.
She was cabinet chief of the City’s Health Undersecretary and was one of the students who attended and made the first question at the conference President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner offered in Harvard University.
