«One day you are good, the next day you are bad, one day you are a hero, the next day you are a traitor,” Supreme Court justice Raúl Zaffaroni today hit back at opposition leaders and defended the ruling which declared the Broadcast Media Law constitutional.
“It is not normal for a law to not be implemented during four years after its approval,” he said about the media law which was passed by Congress in 2009 but didn’t come into effect until last Tuesday because of several complaints presented by Clarin media giant.
He went on to explain the decision of the Supreme Court justices was to rule on the Media Law after Sunday midterm elections were held.
