Pro-government supporters gathered outside the Favaloro clinic in BA city to express their hopes for CFK»s health recovery
Two weeks after the surgery she was forced to undergo after she was diagnosed with a brain subdural hematoma, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was expected to go to the Fundación Favaloro clinic today for some new medical tests.
Fernández de Kirchner was discharged from hospital last week and remains at the presidential Olivos residency with her closest relatives, her son Máximo and her daughter Florencia.
Following strict medical orders, the 60-year-old leader will not fly to the Santa Cruz province to cast her vote on Sunday. Not being authorized to take a plane, she will not be able to visit the Mausoleum of Néstor Kirchner in the Southern city of Río Gallegos on October 27, marking the third death anniversary of her late husband and ex president of Argentina.
