Economy Minister Hernán Lorenzino met in New York with Inter American Development Bank authorities, and will visit the Cleary, Gottlib, Steen and Hamilton law firm, which represents Argentina in its billonaire dispute against the so called “vulture funds.”
Lorenzino met today with the Inter American Development Bank head Luis Alberto Moreno among other authorities of the multilateral body.
His trip to New York comes as the US Supreme Court still anlyzes whether it hears or rejects Buenos Aires recent appeal following last year’s ruling that ratified the decision by judge Thomas Griesa benefiting creditors suing Argentina in a 1.3 billion dollar dispute over the country’s defaulted bonds more than a decade ago.
Further information on the US maximum tribunal steps in this case are expected for Monday.
