President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner announced new energy works during a rally led in the capital of Posadas, Misiones, using the speech to criticise politicians who opposed the 2014 budgets.
The head of state, speaking alongside Misiones governor Maurice Closs, referred to the voting session in the Lower House, where the Victory Front Party succeeded to approve a new Budget bill for 2014.
In that sense the stated: “You have to understand that the resources of the state belong to the people”, remarked Fernández de Kirchner.
The president also questioned lawmakers who were absent or chose to vote against the ruling party initiative in Congress.
“We need to put our differences aside, and when we have to vote, we cannot be absent or oppose”, she argued.
After an 18-hour debate, the Lower House passed the budget bill and the extension of other 3 economic laws paving the way for Senate treatment.
