Congressional candidate and Tigre Mayor Sergio Massa today criticized the 2014 Budget draft bill submitted to Congress by the government which is expected to be cleared for debate in the Lower house this week.
In statements to a radio show this morning, the leader of the Renewal Front affirmed that with this bill the government “is denying inflation and talking about a growth forecast which is not reasonable considering the hydrocarbon situation in Argentina.”
According to Massa, an underestimation of economic figures in the Budget bill reveals “there is a will to deny these problems” among Kirchnerites.
Furthermore, when asked about the government’s decision to lower income taxes after the August primaries, he said: “Finally, it was proved that it could be done although they kept telling us it was impossible.”
