Di Tullio blasts Massa’s anti-crime proposals

Di TullioAfter Tigre Mayor and Renewal Front leader Sergio Massa proposed to fight insecurity and introduced a package of anti-crime bills in Congress, pro-government lawmaker Juliana Di Tullio questioned the proposals calling them “a dead end street” and asked opposite leaders to plan an “alternative project.”

“Toughening criminal penalties does not prevent crime,” Di Tullio, also running for a seat at the Lower House, said.

Massa announced this week a seven-bill package to fight insecurity in the province of Buenos Aires and nationwide.
