Shopping mall sales climbed to AR$ 1,918.8 millions in May, reaching 27 per cent against the same period in 2012, according to the Indec national statistics bureau.
Compared to the volume registered in April, the number rose to 9.5 per cent.
Strong discount campaigns run by banks and credit cards in May are named as a key reason of the sales increase.
In total, the sales have climbed to 24 per cent during 2013.
