Argentina-Brazil define Americas Superclassic by penalties

Argentina’s national football team, mainly formed by local clubs’ players, currently face Brazil at Boca’s «Bombonera» Stadium for the second leg of the «Americas Supperclassic» Cup.

Brazil won the first leg played at Goiania by 2-1.

The second leg was to be held on October 3 at the Sarmiento Stadium in Chaco, but had to suspended due to power issues.

The classic is being held at La Bombonera at 9pm, and Chilean Enrique Osses is refereeing it.

Argentina’s coach Alejandro Sabella summoned players that are currently at local clubs, and a few that play at Brazilian teams.

Argentina: Agustín Orión; Gino Peruzzi, Sebastián Domínguez, Lisandro López, Leandro Desábato and Maximiliano Caire; Leonardo Ponzio, Pablo Pérez and Pablo Guiñazú; Hernán Barcos and Juan Manuel Martínez. Coach: Alejandro Sabella.

Brasil: Cavalieri; Lucas Marques, Leonardo Silva, Réver and Fábio Santos; Arouca, Paulinho, Fellype Gabriel and Thiago Neves; Neymar and Fred. Coach: Mano Menezes.

Referee: Enrique Ossés (Chile).
