Pot-banging protests taking place along the country

Thousands of people were marching in different cities to protest against some of the Government latest measures, including re-reelection plans and the increasing restrictions to the purchase of dollars.

In the City, crowds were marching down Santa Fe avenue, blocking traffic and heading towards Plaza de Mayo square. Other protests spots were the intersection of Cabildo and Juramento avenues in the neighbourhood of Belgrano and in Libertador avenue in the northern Greater Buenos Aires area of Olivos, outside the presidential residence.

In Rosario, Santa Fe province, people gathered in the Flag Monument, while similar scenarios took place in Mar del Plata, Bariloche and Córdoba province.

The protest was organized through social networks with several weeks, to protest against “the re-reelection and reform of the Constitution,” «to defend institutions, and the right of free speech,”, among other issues.

Claims include the punishing of those responsible for the Once train crash and high criminality rates.
