Railway Union announces 24 hour strike

Railway Union delegate Rubén Sobrero announced a 24 hour strike in the Sarmiento, Mitre and Belgrano Norte railway lines and urged users to support the measure.

“Many times people tell us that we leave them without trains when se strike, but we are already are losing our trains, so that is why ask society to support us,” Sobrero said as he left a conciliatory meeting at the Labour Ministry.

Sobrero also blasted the Government’s decision of naming former National Transport Regulation Committee head Eduardo Sícaro as the new under secretary for Transport Regulation, despite the fact he is charge in the Once train crash probe.
