Delays on flight operations into and out of Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport were reported this morning due to the heavy fog affecting the capital, airport sources informed.
From 4.30 am this morning the airport was closed due to the weather, causing delays on the initial departure flights.
Airport sources said hour-long delays were affecting departures and that passengers should consult with their airline to find information of delays affecting their airline.
In addition, Buenos Aires’ port was closed completely due to the heavy banks of fog affecting the area; the Argentine Naval Prefecturate (PNA) informed this morning.
