Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo was giving a press conference this morning, in order to announce the distribution of subsidies on bus and train travel in Buenos Aires City and the rest of the country’s provinces.
In a press conference from the Government House, the minister unveiled a new part of the Transport Ministry’s website, which shows “the economic contributions made by each Argentine citizen to the transport system.»
“On the new site, all of the modes of transport in the country will be mentioned, detailing the amount contributed by the State for the year,” the Transport Minister informed.
“The objective of the site is simple: to give transparency to the system of subsidies on transport to passengers,” Randazzo said.
The website also offers details on the running of services and timetables and maps for all of the country’s train lines and bus lines. Information on airport services are also mentioned.
The minister was accompanied by Transport Secretary Alejandro Ramos during today’s conference.
