UOM metal workers’union head Antonio Caló ratified his candidacy to lead the anti-Moyano faction of the CGT but admitted “we must wait and see” what his fellow union men say on the matter.
“I personally, confirm that the CGT secretary general is Caló, but we must wait and see what the guys say” Caló explained as he entered a meeting of anti-Moyano unionists at the taxi drivers union-
Regarding his absence in a meeting with President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner at the Government House, Caló explained that he traveled with his family to Mendoza province because he “had not had a holiday in over 5 years.”
“I was in Mendoza. I committed no crim. I did not think that my little absence would be so important,” caló added and announced he will take part on a ceremony President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will head this afternoon.
