BA City and province residents bundled up this week in below freezing temperatures.
The blast of especially chilly weather was affecting almost all of Argentina this week, particularly in Buenos Aires, where below-zero temperatures were being experienced across the City and Greater BA area.
Along the coast this morning, Mar del Plata experienced low temperatures of -9.3 degrees Celsius taking into account wind chill, while below freezing temperatures were also affecting various other towns across the province, including: Dolores (-5 degrees) and Tandil (-4 degrees).
Other towns affected by the blast of cold weather included Azul (-3 degrees), San Miguel (-1 degrees) and Morón (-1 degrees).
The National Weather Forecasting Service (SMN) predicted light winds and mainly clear skies with partial cloud coverage in the City and across the province of Buenos Aires. Temperatures are expected to range between -2 and 11 degrees throughout the course of the day.
