Foreign minister Héctor Timerman is in Azerbaijan along with a trade mission comprised of Argentine officials and businessmen to strengthen commercial ties with the Caucasus’ biggest country.
During a business round with Argentine and Azerbaijani businessmen, the Minister pointed out that “emerging economies such as Azerbaijan and Argentina have the challenge to remain expanding and boosting development despite of an uncertain global outlook.”
Timerman along with Domestic Trade Secretary Guillermo Moreno, Foreign Trade secretary Beatriz Paglieri and La Rioja Governor Luis Beder Herrera, amongst other government’s top officials, were received by Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev today at the government house in Baku.
