Buzzi: ‘We will clear the roadblocks, but without violence’

Chubut Governor Martín Buzzi.
Chubut Governor Martín Buzzi said today that while he had instructed province police to clear the roadblocks put in place by the ‘Los Dragones’ group -dissident workers of the Uocra construction workers’ union- it was to be done “without the use of violence.”
Buzzi said today that the police should “move the protesters out of the area, but without insinuating that one is trying to provoke more violence than the other.»
“There are some that want this protest to end in death”, the governor stated.
“All townsfolk need to know that this government will maintain themselves firm in laying down the law in order for the situation to return to normal. However, we aren’t about to play games which could potentially lay down traps which lead to violence. We do not want to repress the workers, and wish to make it clear that it is not a policy we will use now, or ever.”
