Union leader Hugo Moyano’s rally in Plaza de Mayo created huge traffic delays in Downtown Buenos Aires on Wednesday afternoon. Once the event came to a close, the traffic flow in the area slowly returned back to normal.
Regarding highway exits, many drivers were experiencing severe delays at the intersection of the 25 de Mayo and Dellepiane highways.
All public services, including buses, subways and the Premetro tram were functioning normally.
The surroundings of the Plaza de Mayo square were closed off to traffic all day on Wednesday due to a national striked and demonstration called by the CGT labour confederation.
The 9 de Julio Av. was closed to traffic from the Independencia to Corrientes avenues.
