Justice Minister Julio Alak assured this morning that the Government is not planning “any pesification in contracts, nor for savings”, in the bill put forward for the reform of the Civil Code, to be debated by the Congress.
“There is no pesification of contracts, or of savings. What is happening is the going back to the original monetary concept of the country”, the Justice Minister stated during a television interview today.
Alak guaranteed today that the changes to the Civil Code «will respect the will of the contract holders, in that if the contract is put together in a foreign currency, the putting through of payment should respect that and should be paid in that foreign currency.”
