Hugo Moyano, the boss of the CGT Labour Confederation assured that he was «always going to lead the workers,» and that he was «stronger than ever,» with regard to his reelection as the head of the umbrella union.
The CGT General Committee was meeting today in order to bring together some of the final details regarding the upcoming July elections.
The meeting began at 11am this morning, at the CGT headquarters located at 800 Azopardo Street.
Representatives from unions that oppose Moyano were not present; however, those within Moyano’s bloc such as Julio Piumato, Omar Plaini, Gerónimo Venegas, Juan Carlos Schmidt, Amadeo Genta and Jorge Pérez Tamayo were in attendance.
