The Senate accepted the document recommending Daniel Reposo to replace Esteban Righi as Prosecutor-General sent by the National Government and readies to begin discussing its approval on June 5.
According to sources in the Upper House the appointment will begin discussing it in a series of public hearings in the Agreements Committee and is expected to reach the floor on June 13.
Reposo was tapped by the National Government as the replacement of Esteban Righi, who resigned as Prosecutor-General after Vice-President Amado Boudou accused his law firm of unlawful practices.
