Federal Judge Ariel Lijo decided to remove prosecutor Carlos Rívolo from the Ciccone case currently affecting Vice-President Amado Boudou and unified it with a new case investigating him over accusations of illicit enrichment.
Lijo also ordered the authorities to continue investigating Boudou’s assets, as prosecutor Jorge Di Lello had previously requested.
The judge also decided that the warrant order to investigate Amado Boudou’s apartment last month was legitimate.
