Carolina Píparo, who was robbed and shot in 2010 when carrying a nine-month pregnancy losing her baby a week after it was born due to injuries, met today with Buenos Aires province Security Minister Ricardo Casal requesting more security policies after robbers broke into her flat in La Plata city this weekend.
According to State-run news agency Télam, Píparo arrived to the provincial security ministry in La Plata in company of his high-profile lawyer Fernando Burlando.
Píparo told reporters to be «exhausted of seeing how thieves do whatever they want», and added, «Something must be done. We can’t live like this any more.»
Burglars couldn’t take anything from Píparo’s apartment as it was empty and ready for rental. Before a frustrating to trash down the place to then move on to another apartment in the same building where they robbed 30,000 pesos, and a notebook computer among other valuable objects.
